Last week was so incredible soaking it up with my coaching family, team, and some of my best friends I get the privilege of doing my career alongside. Being away from my boys of course was hard, but you better believe they are a reason why I will always continue to do what sets my soul on fire, even if it’s unconventional, not what others would do, hard as hell some days, and consist of working super early, during nap times or late at night. For full on days of being present with them + splashing in the pool together without having to request a day off from my boss and scheduling only 10 days for an entire year I used to get. Never ever taking for granted what coaching has allowed and provided me and my family.

#1 . Success: this is the most number of climbs I’ve done in months. Well, years, at this point. For some reason, things are clicking this week. Went from 1 1/2 climbs last week to this. Granted, those last few climbs don’t gain a lot of height, but I stayed up there! My goal is to reach the top of the silks on the low truss point by the end of the year. #2 . Moderate success: got upside down, but still need to tag my toes and my core/rhomboid form is all over the place. Still, not so bad. #3 . Failure: gloriously so! A little update on my post pregnancy recouping. My daughter is 4 months old and I’m finally allowing myself some “me” time. At first I felt selfish trying to get to the gym for an hour here and there. But I’m realizing it’s truly good for my mental health. I’m trying to make it 4x a week for an hour. It allows me to just focus on me for a short moment of time. Today I feel good. I feel strong. I feel empowered. And most importantly I feel determined to keep pushing Day by Day. After I had our second I knew I needed to change my bad habits to positive ones and create a lifestyle I could maintain . . As a new mom of two at home I needed motivation and support to help keep me accountable because I knew I couldn’t do it on my own. • I’m happy to say that ever since I made the commitment to myself, I haven’t looked back! I'm not producing enough milk!? That is what I posted into one of my mom groups a few weeks after having Camila. At night it seemed like she wanted to eat closer together, and while nursing she'd pull off crying, but I couldn't hand express anymore. I PANICKED. People told me to supplement with formula. And I knew I didn't want to do that, but I felt like I might have to inorder to feed my child. So I went to a breastfeeding group, and I explained the situation and asked for suggestions! Turns out, cluster feeding was common at night time and it was her telling my body to produce more. I stayed strong and trusted these mamas who had been doing it longer than me, and thank God I did. Breastfeeding is SUPER challenging, and this was one of the many scared I had early on, but I thank God for all the resources that are out there that helped me stick with it. My little lady used to be in the 4th and 6th percentile for weight, she is now in the 77th strictly breastfeeding! 😅😅 So if you're a soon to be mama, or a brand new mama struggling with this now, make sure to reach out to all the resources you can. God opens doors, it’s your choice if you are gonna walk through them. Before I said yes to this business I had been praying hard for something else to come along that would allow me to stay home with my baby because the thought of having to go back to work just makes me cry. I prayed for something that I would wake up excited to do and not dread, something that would light me up, something that would make me dream so big and then do whatever it takes to make those dreams a reality. Something that fit into my passion which is serving others through health and wellness and helping others become the best version of themselves. I never in a million years, if I’m being honest, thought it would be with this company because I used to think these girls were annoying( If I’m being completely honest 😂 Sorry, y’all) I couldn’t get it out of my head. It made me excited when I thought about it and the possibilities it could bring to our family. There was this fire that would light up inside me every time I thought about this business and it just would not GO AWAY! It was allll I could think about. If those aren’t signs that God is pushing you to do something brave then I don’t know what is. I remember walking outside and pushing my son in the stroller and something told me to message this girl and ask her about what it was she did. I told her I don’t know why but something is just pushing me and telling me to reach out to you. I told her I wasn’t sure if this is what I was supposed to be doing, but I think God is behind it. Like, I have never messaged someone and been like I think God is telling me to reach out to you. So she told me a little about what she did and then we didn’t talk for a few days. Occasionally, they had deals where you could sign up for half off. I told myself, if she has a deal where I can sign up for half off. I’M IN. Y’all! The next day she messaged me and said she had ONE code for half off that she received. And it was true, she really only had one! I immediately said YES! I had no idea what I was doing, knew nothing about it, but I said YES! I knew this was put on my heart for a reason and so I jumped! Just jump! If God opens a door, GO! 💗
Breastfeeding update. My precious Jade is now over 4 months old and yes I am still only exclusively breastfeeding. I must admit it has not been the easiest journey. Some days are better then others. Some days I feel like crying. Some days I feel like just giving her a bottle. Some days my breasts hurt so badly I can barely move. Some days I get embarrassed when one breast is more engorged then the other. Sometimes while breastfeeding her in public I get judgemental looks. (Most times when even covering up) Some days I worry about her weight and if she's gaining enough. Some days I feel like a milk machine and not a woman just standing at my breast pump shaking drops of milk from my breasts hoping for more so I can freeze a bottle. . . . I've learned so much since deciding to only breastfeed. I've learned support from your partner, friends and family is most important. I've learned I need "mommy time" to go to the gym, to get my nails done, etc. I've learned I need to sleep more and hydrate constantly! Most of all I've learned that I cherish the bond I have with my daughter. The bond itself has given me the strength to move forward daily. I have no idea how much longer I plan to breastfeed. I'm not one of those mothers who thinks I must breastfeed for the year or longer. I believe I'm just going to continue until my body or my brain decides to say this journey is over. . . . No matter what every mother breastfed or bottle fed is a mother. I feel accomplished for just getting this far. Thank you to everyone who has helped me to continue! Your support means everything. . . . The second photo is a supplement I've started taking that has truly helped my milk supply! My husband suggested it and I've spoken to a few doctors, it's safe, natural and really works! #thursdaytransformation update! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wow I can’t believe this was me just 6 months ago. Time flies and my baby boy is 4 months old today! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been consistently active for the past 2 months, here are the results 👇 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 Lost 5 kilos and I’m almost at my pre-pregnancy weight 4 months postpartum ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 slowly but surely regaining my strength. I couldn’t even lift myself when I first started this journey. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 I have more energy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here is exactly what I’ve been doing up until now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Working Out 3-5 times a week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I work out first thing in the morning (between 5.30 and 6.30 am) with @fitnessblender in the comfort of my own home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I use dumbbells, an exercise mat, a yoga ball and my 8 year old iPod shuffle - that’s all I need 💪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Walking 5 km every day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @volkanedali and I alternate who gets to push our giant stroller up the hill. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Intuitive eating ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have not stuck to any particular diet or restricted myself. Just trying to eat healthy and enjoying my treats when I feel like it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The first couple of weeks were tough both physically and mentally, but I pushed through. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I still have a long way to go, but I’m definitely on the right track! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you living an active life? Another First In The Books . . Today was a long day at work as it was the first day back to work from our trip back home. Being with family was great but man oh man was I glad to be back in my routine and element. Today was a hustle and bustle type day, work needed done, timelines attached, I forgot my pump parts at home so I had to come back in the middle of the day, but I made time for my workout tonight and I made time for moments with Kynley before bed. . . I’m so glad that I did because she never ceases to amaze me! Tonight while reading her book she grabbed the pages and turned them, on cue, each time. My 4.5 month old is growing up so fast and I just can’t handle it! . . I am so thankful to have shared this moment with her and these moments so far are my favorite part of motherhood!
